Taking Control by Cutting Negative Energy Connections
Energy ties are invisible connections we form with others, and they play a profound role in our emotional, mental, and spiritual well-being. These ties can be both positive and negative, and your intuition is a powerful tool in helping you recognise and navigate them.
The Energy Connections That Shape Our Lives
Positive energy connections create harmonious connections, like when you meet someone and instantly feel a deep bond or comfort around them. These ties foster mutual support, trust, and balance—an even flow of giving and receiving energy that leaves both parties feeling uplifted. They are the connections that nurture us, inspire us, and enrich our lives.
On the other hand, negative energy ties can leave you feeling drained, manipulated, or uneasy. Think about the times you’ve met someone and immediately felt discomfort or distrust. Those are examples of energy ties that are not aligned with your well-being. Negative ties can persist even after relationships end, such as when a past romantic connection lingers, causing emotional exhaustion each time you think of them or encounter them on social media.
The key to managing these connections lies in recognizing their nature and taking deliberate action to maintain your energy balance.
Trusting Your Intuition
Your intuition is your greatest ally in identifying and addressing energy ties. It communicates through images, visions, and feelings, guiding you to understand the connections in your life. While these messages may seem strange or unexpected, there is always a deeper meaning behind them. Trust the impressions you receive—they are your intuition’s way of offering clarity.
The more you engage with this process and trust the details that emerge, the more effective and transformative your work with energy ties will become.
Cutting the Energy Connections That Drain You
When you feel drained after interactions or burdened by past relationships, it’s time to cut those energy ties and reclaim your personal power. Here’s how to identify and sever these connections:
- Identify the Source: Consider who the ties might be linked to—family, friends, co-workers, or past relationships. Some connections may be ongoing, while others may persist even with people you no longer see.
- Scan Your Body: In a calm, meditative state, visualize your body and observe where these ties are attached. Each connection may look different, reflecting the unique energy of that relationship.
- Focus on One Tie at a Time: Start with the most draining connection. Reflect on its size, shape, and nature. Is it thick, thin, smooth, or rough?
- Choose Your Cutting Tool: Envision how you’ll sever the tie. Will you use scissors for a clean break, a knife for precision, or a chainsaw for something more entrenched? Let your intuition guide you—there’s no right or wrong tool, only what feels effective for you.
- Heal the Area: Once the tie is cut, focus on the residual energy. Soothe and heal the area with your imagination—perhaps applying a salve of light, visualizing the wound closing, or surrounding it with protective energy.
This technique can be repeated as often as needed. Energy ties can reconnect or new ones may form, so regularly scan your body for unwanted attachments. Pay attention to how you feel after interactions to identify potential negative connections.
Not Every Energy Connection Needs Cutting
While some energy ties need to be severed, others may simply require restriction. In the next blog and podcast, we’ll explore how to manage and limit these connections to maintain balance without fully cutting them.
